Increasing Lag in a golf swing can be difficult for a lot of golfers due to various different reasons. One of the biggest reasons why people lose lag is that their upper bodies move towards the target on the downswing which in turn causes them to lose their wrist angle and scoop the ball to flatten the swing arc out, as if they weren’t to do this, they would end up topping the ball.

If this problem sounds familiar to you, then you need to imagine there being a vertical line to the left side of your head and when you swing back and down the head stays to the right of this line up until the point of impact at which time it can then go to the left of the line. If you can manage to do this the want to cast the golf club will go and you’ll be able to store your natural lag angles coming down into the impact position.
